I am pleased to announce the call for papers for the 1st Annual Research Symposium of Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine-2024 (ARS PGIIM-2024), which will be held on 18th October 2024 at the Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine.

The symposium aims to bring together scholars and experts of indigenous medicine including Ayurveda, Siddha, Unani, and Deshiya Chikitsa to exchange and discuss recent advancements, challenges, and emerging trends in clinical research, interdisciplinary approaches, economic empowerment through indigenous medicine, traditional medicine for communicable and non-communicable diseases, intergenerational transmission of indigenous medical knowledge, revitalizing of indigenous medicine, and innovations of indigenous medicine.
Researchers are invited to submit original contributions in the form of research papers based on given symposium guidelines which can be seen on PGIIM webpage. I look forward to your participation in 1st Annual Research Symposium of Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine-2024.

About Conference

The Annual Research Symposium of the Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine is the first research symposium at PGIIIM. The conference will be held on 18th October 2024 at the PGIM.The primary objective of this symposium is to provide a comprehensive platform for researchers and practitioners in the field of Indigenous Medicine to disseminate their latest findings and advancements. Through this event, we aim to facilitate meaningful discussions, exchange of ideas, and networking opportunities among professionals dedicated to the advancement of Indigenous Medicine.

Abstract should be

An abstract is a concise summary of a research paper’s content, including its background, purpose, methodology, results, and conclusion.

  • Should be one paragraph, Word limit: 300-350 words.
  • No more than 5 Key words.
  • Written in lowercase letters (except for names/scientific names), Separated by commas. Do not include subheadings, bullets, lists, or headers/footers in the abstract.
  • Titles should be short but descriptive.
  • Informative titles, indicating key points, are encouraged.
  • Abbreviations should not be used in the title.
  • Font- 12 point Times New Roman
  • Paragraph- Single spaced 1.5
  • Page margin- Top: 1 inch, Bottom: 1 inch, Left: 1.5, Right: 1

Extended Abstract

The word count for the Extended Abstract should be between 1000 and 1200 words. Please include a maximum of five (5) key references. The Extended Abstract should be organized as follows:

    • Abstract and Keywords
    • Introduction
    • Problem Statement
    • Objectives
    • Materials and Methods
    • Significant of the Study
    • Results and Discussion
    • Conclusion & Recommendations
    • References
