The 2nd PG Convocation of the PGIIM was held on December 6, 2024, at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH). Graduates successfully completed MD in Ayurveda in their respective fields of specialization.

The ceremony began in an atmosphere of pride and accomplishment as graduates, dressed in traditional attire, marched into the auditorium to applause from officials, guests, family members, and others.

The Chancellor and Vice Chancellor of the University of Colombo commended the graduates for their dedication and perseverance during their academic journey. The Director of PGIIM Professor SMS Samarakoon congratulated the graduates, highlighting this milestone as a testament to their hard work, commitment, and passion. He encouraged them to uphold the values of Ayurveda and make meaningful contributions to society as qualified consultants.

The convocation concluded with the awarding of degrees and certificates, marking the graduates’ official entry into the field of Ayurveda as trained MD professionals.
