Successfully held Mobile Health Camp & Awareness Programme for Mental and Physical Health
We are delighted to share the success of our recent Mobile Health Camp & Awareness Programme, dedicated to fostering awareness about mental and physical health. Held on the 7th of March 2024, this event made a significant impact on our community.
The Mobile Health Camp took place at Weerapokuna Shri Pushparama Viharasthana, where essential treatments were provided to patients in need. This programme led by MD Trainees from PGIIM as resource persons, the camp received invaluable support from the Secretary of Bingiriya Pradeshiya Sabha.
As well as, an Awareness Programme was held at Ku/Weerapokuna Vijith Madya Maha Vidyalaya. Here, students were enlightened about the importance of mental and physical health. MD Trainees from PGIIM contributed as resource persons, while the Director of the Divisional Educational Office extended their support.
These impactful programmes were coordinated by Ayurveda Community Health Officer Dr. S.R.A. Priyantha, under Bingiriya Divisional Secretariat. Their dedication and guidance ensured the smooth execution and success of both initiatives.
