The orientation for the 3rd batch of the MD Ayurveda and Board Certification programme at the Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine (PGIIM)

The orientation for the 3rd batch of the MD Ayurveda and Board Certification programme at the Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine (PGIIM) was held today, led by Director Professor S.M.S. Samarakoon. The event included the participation of the members of the Board of Management, the Board of Study in Ayurveda, Specialty Boards, Ayurveda consultants, senior MD trainees, and PGIIM staff. Dr. (Mrs.) Senani Kalawana conducted the Dhanwantari Pooja, while Professor (Mrs.) Priyani Peiris led the Shishyopanayana Samskara. New trainees in four MD programmes—Kayachikitsa, Kaumarabhritya, Shalyatantra, and Prasutitantra Streeroga—began their clinical training.
