Professor SMS Samarakoon-Director/PGIIM, Delivers Keynote Address at AYUR GERICON 2025, ITRA Jamnagar, India

Institute of Teaching and Research in Ayurveda (ITRA) in Jamnagar, Gujarat  India, conducted  “AYUR GERICON 2025: International Conference on Geriatric Health Care in Ayurveda” on 14 – 16th  October, 2025 on the occasion of  Foundation Day Celebration of the Institute.
Professor SMS Samarakoon, Director of the Postgraduate Institute of Indigenous Medicine (PGIIM), University of Colombo participated and delivered Keynote Speech on “Ayurvedic Management of Age-related Diseases: Evidence-based Approach” on 15th and participated in pre-conference workshop on 14th.
ITRA is a leading institute in higher education on Ayurveda studies in India.
Post-MD trainees of PGIIM in  five specialties completed their one-year mandatory overseas training on 15th September 2025.
ITRA is one of the accredited overseas training centre for MD Ayurveda and Board Certification study programmes of PGIIM of the University of Colombo.
